The EDAS Chief Executive, Dr Mindy Bartlett, is a Dr of Education and fundamentally believes in learning; for ourselves, for service users and for all participants of EDAS training courses. When training others the training team entrench the six ‘C’ technique into their delivery: Consideration, Consistency, and Compassion, Consequently empowering people to Change and move forward with Courage.

EDAS is a registered charity (not for profit) business driven by a social purpose. EDAS’s purpose is to improve the quality of life of people with drug and alcohol problems, families, educational establishments, businesses and local communities by providing innovative creative training in the substance misuse field, and associated intervention.

Environment mindfulness

At EDAS we're always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Some of our offices are paperless, we also put presentations on USB fobs (instead of paper hand-outs) these are just a few of the ways we are trying to lighten our footprint on our planet.

EDAS is an approved Investors in People organisation. We are members of Mindful Employers and all our literature meets the Information Standard, Consequently, you can be assured our information on the EDAS website, drugs library and information used in our training is exceptional and up to date.
